Academic Programs
Primary School (I-V)
Our primary curriculum focuses on foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills through interactive learning. Subjects include English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Computer Basics. We use play-way methods and project-based learning to make education engaging.
Students participate in weekly activities like storytelling, art and craft, and physical education. Assessment is continuous and comprehensive, with no formal exams until Class V. Our teachers are trained in child psychology to support emotional well-being.
Middle School (VI-VIII)
The middle school program introduces specialized subjects like Science, Social Studies, and a third language (Sanskrit or French). We emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving through laboratory work and group projects.
Students can choose from elective clubs such as Robotics, Debate, and Music. Regular field trips to historical sites and science centers enhance experiential learning. Our career counseling sessions begin in Class VIII to guide future academic choices.
Senior Secondary (IX-XII)
In Classes IX-X, students follow the CBSE core curriculum with subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Class XI-XII offers streams: Science (PCM/PCB), Commerce, and Humanities.

Detailed Curriculum Overview
The academic year is divided into two terms, with periodic assessments to monitor progress. Our teaching methodology integrates flipped classrooms, where students access lecture materials online beforehand and use class time for discussions and hands-on activities. For languages, we emphasize proficiency in English and Hindi, while also offering Sanskrit and French as optional third languages. Comprehensive Infrastructure Details
St. Michael's High School boasts a campus designed to support all-round development. The academic block comprises 50 spacious classrooms, each fitted with ergonomic furniture, LED lighting, and ventilation systems to ensure a comfortable learning environment. Smart classrooms are equipped with interactive panels, audio systems, and projectors, allowing teachers to use multimedia content.
The auditorium, named "Kalam Hall," has a seating capacity of 500 and is used for assemblies, cultural performances, and seminars. It features a professional sound and lighting system. The school also has a dedicated art and music room with instruments like keyboards, tablas, and painting supplies. Pottery wheels and sculpture tools are available for craft enthusiasts.
For sports, we offer a synthetic track for athletics, tennis courts, and a gymnasium with fitness equipment. The swimming pool is Olympic-sized and maintained by certified lifeguards. Our sports coaches are trained professionals who have produced state-level athletes in swimming and cricket.
Health and safety are priorities: the school has a fully equipped infirmary with a full-time nurse and a tie-up with a nearby hospital for emergencies. Fire safety systems, including extinguishers and alarms, are installed throughout. CCTV surveillance covers all common areas to ensure security.
The cafeteria serves hygienic, nutritious meals prepared under the supervision of a dietitian. We accommodate dietary restrictions and offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Transportation facilities include a fleet of 30 buses with GPS tracking and female attendants for student safety.
Admissions Process
Admissions for the academic session 2024-25 are open from November 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. We welcome applications for Classes I to XI. The process is transparent and merit-based, with no donations accepted.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Requirement: For Class I, the child must be 5+ years as of March 31, 2024. For higher classes, age relaxation is considered based on previous school records.
- Documents Needed: Birth certificate, previous year's report card, transfer certificate (if applicable), Aadhar card copy, and four passport-sized photographs.
- Entrance Assessment: For Classes VI and above, a written test in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge is conducted, followed by a personal interaction.
Fee Structure
The annual fee ranges from INR 50,000 for primary classes to INR 80,000 for senior secondary, inclusive of tuition, laboratory, and library charges. A one-time admission fee of INR 10,000 is applicable. Fees can be paid in two installments. Scholarships are available for meritorious students and those from economically weaker sections, based on annual family income and academic performance.
